Main Characters and Their Development

• Robert Langdon: A professor of religious symbology at Harvard University. At the beginning of the book, he is summoned to CERN to investigate the murder of scientist Leonardo Vetra. Throughout the story, Langdon uses his knowledge and analytical skills to uncover the conspiracy and prevent catastrophe.
• Vittoria Vetra: A scientist from CERN and the adopted daughter of Leonardo Vetra. She assists Langdon in investigating her father's murder and searching for the antimatter. Vittoria displays determination, intelligence, and emotional resilience.
