Brief Overview
The Little Mermaid, the youngest daughter of the sea king, lives in an underwater kingdom and dreams of seeing the human world. One day, she saves a prince from drowning in the sea and falls in love with him. To become human and be with the prince, she makes a deal with the sea witch, giving up her voice in exchange for human legs. However, the prince marries another, and the Little Mermaid, unwilling to kill him to return to the sea, turns into sea foam. In the end, she becomes a spirit of the air, gaining a chance to earn an immortal soul through good deeds.
