Main Characters and Their Development

• Taran - the main character of the book, who sets out on a journey to find his roots and understand who he truly is. Throughout his travels, he encounters various challenges and meets many people who assist him in his quest. Taran grows as a person, learns to make decisions, and understands that true value lies not in lineage but in actions and inner strength.
• Craddoc - one of the characters Taran meets. He is a blacksmith and helps Taran understand the importance of skill and hard work. Craddoc becomes an example for Taran of how respect and recognition can be achieved through diligence.
• Fflewddur Fflam - a bard and friend of Taran, who accompanies him on his journey. Fflewddur helps Taran see the world from a different perspective and teaches him the importance of art and music in life.
• Doli - a wise old man who shares his knowledge and experience with Taran. He helps the main character realize that true wisdom comes with understanding oneself and the world around.
• Eilonwy - although she does not play a central role in this book, Eilonwy remains an important figure in Taran's life. Her memories and influence continue to motivate him in his quest.
