Main Characters and Their Development

• Senya Skorodumov (nicknamed 'Death') - the main character, a young man who comes to Moscow in search of adventure and a better life. He becomes a member of the 'Black' gang, where he is nicknamed 'Death' for his cold-bloodedness and bravery. As the plot develops, Senya faces moral dilemmas and begins to reassess his life priorities, leading to personal growth and a change in his outlook on life.
• Erast Fandorin - a famous detective who appears in the book as a secondary character. He helps Senya navigate a complex situation and solve crimes. Fandorin acts as a wise mentor, guiding the main character and significantly influencing his development.
• Sonya the Golden Hand - a notorious thief who plays an important role in the plot. She symbolizes female cunning and charm. Sonya assists Senya in his adventures, and their relationship becomes an important part of his personal growth.
