Summary
The tragedy «Prometheus Bound» by Aeschylus tells the story of the mythical Titan Prometheus, who defied Zeus by giving fire to humanity and teaching them various arts and sciences. As punishment, Zeus ordered Prometheus to be chained to a rock in a desolate place, where he was to suffer in solitude.
